GATHERINGS

Every two years the Society strives to host an in-person Gathering. We have also started meeting every two years virtually over Zoom for our General Meeting (GM). Our Gatherings are strictly fun social events meant to get Society members together where they can meet old and new friends. Our GMs are business meetings (with fun mixed in!) where elections are held, formal updates about the Society are shared, Q&As between the members and Board of Directors happen, etc.

 

In recent years we have had in-person Gatherings in Chicago (USA), Halifax (Nova Scotia), and Edinburgh (Scotland). Planning will soon be underway for our next in-person Gathering in 2026 (location TBA).

Of course, in addition to the larger events discussed above, our Commissioners are hard at work hosting clan tents at various Highland Games through the USA, Australia, Canada, and Europe. Do not hesitate reaching out to the Commissioner in your area to learn what they’ve got planned next. Perhaps you can lend a hand! Don’t see a Commissioner near you? Maybe that Commissioner can be you!
